Dear President Monson:
We are a part of a community of thousands of current and former members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Recent events surrounding the Church have prompted us to add our voices to the conversation about the desire for transparency.
We speak out as current and former bishops, Relief Society presidents, Elders Quorum presidents, Primary presidents, Young Women and Young Men leaders, missionaries, and tithe payers. We loved the Church and we still love its members, but many of us have made the difficult choice to leave. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf summed up the feelings many of us have when he said:
One might ask, “If the gospel is so wonderful, why would anyone leave?”
Sometimes we assume it is because they have been offended or lazy or...

Dear Bishop Paul Butler,
I was reminded of you through your recent match with Macsas in the Church Times,
Of course this kind of MAtch game is an ongoing thing, and excruciating to watch, with both sides as self-interested as each other, and it tends to be amusing and tragic at the same time, because neither you nor MACSAS make things better for abuse victims, they don't because they are so self-absorbed and political and I have first hand experience of just how harmful they are as a loose-canon, wounded survivor charity, because they are political and unethical and in my case have even broken the law because they are without ethics and without any ability to regulate themselves or help victims within boundaries. I will go back to that later.
In your case, you shout in the press...

Dear Bishop Dakin,
You have stolen two years of my life for a public character assination of me.
You owe me recompense for that.
You also owe a duty of care in stopping this endless living in fear.
You either put me in contact with these legal and safeguarding experts who are supposedly looking at your whitewash report, so that I can tell my story,
or you stop claiming that these people are looking at the report, and scrub the report, so that the attacks on me by the Jersey Deanery and BBC, which I hold YOU responsible for, stop.
You are breaching my human rights by making me ilive in fear and under repeated attacks without warning in the press, and Jane Fisher has repeatedly breached my human rights by her illegal actions in Jersey and Winchester and beyond, violating me over...

Dear Archbishop Welby,
I feel compelled to write to you due to your recent vote-swinging and propaganda at the expense of the vulnerable campaign.
Do you remember me, the vulnerable abuse victim who you left homeless and destitute with her career in ruins? Do you remember me, the vulnerable adult who you left voiceless and excluded from all your whitewash reports?

Please stop this nonsense. You have more important things to do than spread propaganda through the press, you...

This is a formal letter calling for the resignation of the Bishop of Winchester, Tim Dakin, and his Safeguarding Director, Jane Fisher.
The horrendous fiasco of the war between the Diocese of Winchester and Deanery of Jersey should have led to the Bishop's resignation in 2013, while Jane Fisher's actions for 7 years have been so serious that she also should have been removed a long time ago.
They are both currently responsible for the prolonged and untenable suffering of a vulnerable adult, who has made numerous formal complaints, but nothing has been done by the Archbishop, Clergy Discipline Panel, police or any other authority as yet.
The nature of the wrongdoing of these two people is described on my blog and on numerous other blogs, and is evident in the catastrophic mess...

Dear Bishop Tim Dakin, and clergy, employees and staff,
I am writing regarding your continued harm to me in the media and press.
I am writing to explain to you that you are harming me and that you must stop.
Last year I wrote you a legal letter and asked you to desist from harassing and harming me, I received no response.
Last year you illegally and wrongly had me traced and allowed a hate campaign that smeared my name when you...

Formal legal letter:
Dear Bishop Tim Dakin,
This is a formal legal letter, to warn you that due to the failure of Hampshire Constabulary to effectively warn you against harassing me and due to your continued harassment of me, you are to desist from harassing me, as are your clergy and staff and anyone associated with you or I will make a public legal effort to have you restrained.
You had no right to have me traced and violated in March by the same police who your safeguarding officer previously used to have me brutalized and detained for 24 hours, claiming I was insane on 14/02/2011 as I responded to her and Bishop Scott-Joynts endless violations of my privacy and human rights in Winchester.
You forced...

Dear Very Reverend Key,
I am writing in response to your press release yesterday, demanding the release of the Steel report.
I know I am autistic and think simply, but has it ever occurred to you that the Bishop of Winchester is outside of the BBC Jersey broadcasting area and doesn't listen to BBC Jersey or watch it, and so he won't actually pick up on your radio message and respond to you? I wonder if you have considered contacting him directly to discuss safeguarding and reports?
His secretary's phone number is 01962 854050. I think unless you actually contact the Bishop, you kind of look a bit foolish demanding a report on a local radio station that is not heard by your intended recipients of your message. Your own Bishop, Bishop Willmott is also outside of the...

Dear Rabbi Telsner,
No, this isn't going to be an message; It saddens me that you're probably going to be receiving a lot of them.
Just as it saddens me regarding the claims you've made about homosexuality.
Whilst I respect your right to an opinion, I implore that you - as a spiritual leader that is looked up to, especially by impressionable youth - to consider the facts of this matter a little more and perhaps try to mitigate some of the harm that you have caused.
Being homosexual is against your precepts, I agree. It is specifically forbidden for one of the Jewish tribes to be homosexual, I accept that.
But being homosexual isn't a choice. It isn't a disease that can be treated, either. And claiming that it can be, causes psychological damage to people struggling with...

I am a 92-year-old American, a Holocaust survivor from Germany. I am delighted by your humanistic approach to the problems of climate change, predatory capitalism, and terrorism. I plead with you to further use your enormous influence to help the poor and downtrodden.
Since you are an insightful person with millions hanging onto your words, I hope you will continue to speak out about some of the world's social pathologies. For instance, the despair and fury of people we call terrorists, who use the guise of religion to destroy the lives of their fellow humans. Colonized people, who have been made to feel inferior, are misguidedly using violence to re-establish themselves as worthy human beings.
In our country, minorities are fighting for their rightful status as equal citizens in a...
