Dear 8th Grade Spanish teacher ,

“ JENNIFER GET OUT!!!! ”

You told me you were likeable. You told me you were easygoing. Then why kick a student out eager to learn. When you kicked me out we laughed. It was constantly, day after day month after month. Every time I would breathe It was;“Jennifer get out”!! I didn't even have the opportunity to learn in your class. Well no one did. My picture of a good teacher is one who can control a class. One who actually teaches. One who grasp the attention of students. One who shows that they care and have a passion for teaching. Teachers are suppose to correct students mistakes not give up on them.

You used to say, ”You had your best interest for us and you also said you wanted the best for us but sadly your actions spoke otherwise.” There was a time where we used to get along. In the beginning of the year you could say . When we first met. When everyone respected you . I remember being absent a day and asking my friend Joanna for the class notes. She answered: “ One second, let me get it out.” Before I could respond Ms.Roachwagen shouted: ” THAT'S IT I'M WRITING YOU UP FOR INSUBORDINATION!” I was puzzled but that was just the beginning of a very long year.

The next day my friends were talking and somehow I got blamed for it and got kicked out. I do admit I was listening but I wasn't speaking. The hallway was slowing becoming my second home. One of my biggest pet peeves are getting accused for something that I had nothing to do with so it hit a nerve .At this point in time I didn't even
get lunch anymore . I had gotten all my end of the year activities taken away from me plus I had to stand against the wall during lunch . “YOUR NOSE HAS TO TOUCH THE WALL” ! I'd hear these words everyday.

The funny thing was I still managed to keep a B+ . It was a good thing I took previous Spanish classes . Throughout the year she wouldn't even let me enter the classroom. I knew not to even look the direction of her class. When I was finally allowed to enter the classroom I would just try my best to stay quiet . Ya I had some fault I would purposely do things to get on her nerves. Like I'd argue back with her . I even once gave her multiple nicknames . The first one was Ms.Devil. Let's just say she would realllly irritate me. The second name was Mrs.Roachwagen it was similar to her name. It had the whole class laughing .

I always wished better for her. I mean she would always cry and complain to me as in how she was trying to improve the class. I can say as a student I did my part in the beginning of the year but over time I changed . She was my first “bad teacher”. Overtime i learned how to deal with teachers like that and still learn. I learned as a student myself.
Sincerely Jennifer ,
