The modern, digital age is filled full of threats & potential for harm. I never thought I would ever have to say that - from where I'm standing - one of those threats is the Government of the United Kingdom specifically those hell-bent on making our country a digital dystopia.
This first started when you had the bright idea to pass through the Online Safety Act, a flawed piece of legislation intended to "protect the kids" which in reality did nothing except block access to thousands of life-altering technologies for millions of people - simply because you fundamentally do not understand how the internet works. You are policy makers, not computer systems architechts - in the same way that a policeman, who has next to no advanced medical knowledge, would not make legislation for healthcare, why are we seeing lawmakers - who have next to no technical understanding of how the internet functions - make laws & regulations dictating what we can & can't do on the freest medium in the world.
