Carrying the Weight of a Second Trimester Termination for Medical Reasons
(An Open Letter to your so- called "Pro-Life" friends)
I'm sharing my story in light of recent politicized discussions about late term abortions and consequently the social media frenzy that followed. I simply can no longer sit back and watch women and families be ridiculed and vilified for making the choice to terminate a pregnancy, especially after going through the most heartbreaking loss they will ever face. If you think this story can reach anyone on this issue – please read and share.
A few days before New Years Eve last year, I was ecstatic to see the pregnancy test was positive. I couldn't wait to show my husband as soon as he walked through the door. We were overjoyed...
Politics
To the honest FBI agents still remaining at the FBI and members of the House and Senate...
You all know the score. You all know you have been derelict in your jobs, asleep at the switch, or deliberately turned a blind eye to win favor with superiors, or return one. I was also asked to do the same when I worked 5 years in federal law enforcment. First I protested, and then I was black-balled, and then I resigned. At least I am alive. Some of my colleagues were not so lucky. One was murdered, one committed suicide, and one was shot five time and left for dead. When he lived he was paid a few million dollars to sign a gag order. His name is Jurgen Schmidt and he lives in a wheelchair in Hollywood, Florida if you doubt my words.
But that is ancient history. Today we have even bigger...

Dear Dr. Tyson,
I've read your article titled "If I were president", where you state the problem with politics isn't with the electorate, but with the people who elect them. While I agree with this statement I would like to take things a bit further - I'll begin by quoting you. During an interview on Bill Maher's show you made an observation regarding the backgrounds of the current senators and congressmen that asked; "What profession do all of these people have in common? Law, Law, Law, Businessman, Law, Law". I would also like to include a quote from Albert Einstein " We can not solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them".
Your observation combined with Einstein's insights identify a serious and troubling issue that has been allowed to...

Dear Hillary,
No, I will not be referring to you as Mrs. Clinton. I refuse to do so because I am personally offended by your choice to stay married to your husband.
I am 17, Hillary, and I have never been more affected by something than the letter I read that was written by the victim of Brock Turner. Surely you know who Brock Turner is. He is a young man from Stanford University who was convicted of brutally raping an unconscious woman. He probed unsanitary objects into her body, along with his own male parts. Does this sound familiar? Does this sound like someone else you know? To me, it seems oddly familiar to a man you know well. Maybe your own spouse?
William Jefferson Clinton, your "faithful" husband, was the 42nd president of the greatest country in the world. At the...

Dear Madam Secretary,
Almost 40 years ago I came to America escaping persecution and hard life in
the former Soviet Union. For the last 30 years I've been a proud naturalized patriotic American. In fact, I think that some people who immigrated to the US in their adult years (especially those from the socialist countries, as I was) might be more patriotic than some people born in the US, because we have the opportunity to compare two worlds, and we don't take anything for granted.
I've been following political events, both domestic and international, but I have never spoke or wrote a letter to any politician. I am 70-years old retired IT professional. I am an independent voter, never belonged to any party and have no intention to do it in the future. But at the present time...

OPEN LETTER TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
OK, it’s time for all Republicans to have a “Coming to Jesus” moment and realize just how close Hillary is to being elected and what that will mean for the destruction of the Country as we know it. Obama said he will “fundamentally change” this country and he has. Hillary will complete that task with the type of judges she has boldly stated she will appoint to the Supreme Court and her “path to citizenship” for illegals.
So, all you Republican leaders, pundits, elected office holders (past and current) and everyday people who have decided NOT to support our nominee, I strongly ask you to reconsider, as the consequences are just to grave for the future of our nation. Not like in past elections, where four years later maybe we could change...

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
This proverb is often attributed to the Bible but most scholars say it is from the Chinese. It is actually a secular proverb about alleviating poverty.
I am going to use this to describe how I see Democrats and Republicans.
As I see it, Democrats want you to line up for a fish everyday so you are dependent on them for how you live everyday. They want to tax everyone over poverty level to death in order to keep all people depending on them for the roof over their heads, healthcare and jobs when we can find them.
On the other hand, Republicans want to hand you a fishing rod and tackle, show you how to fish; allowing you to feed your family. They want the American people to...

Dear Mr. President,
Corruption cannot end in Nigeria in the next 100 years and if it will end, it won't be the under this government of PMB, no matter what.
Is this corruption fight motivated by a desire to protect the people OR to protect Buhari and his government?
Anti Corruption activities are the functions of the system and relevant authorities, not the presidency.
The best the president can do is to strengthen the Anti corruption systems and agencies, make them more effective and more independent of all and even the presidency.
When anti corruption agencies become dependent on the presidency, taking 90% of orders from the presidency, their purposes are defeated.
Anti corruption war becomes anti opposition war. The intention of the presidency becomes irrelevant...
