i decided to start doing these open letters as a way to get my words out of my head. i'm not a very articulate person. it's hard to voice your thoughts and needs when you've been forced into silence. in spite of that, i'm building my voice. in the mean time, this poorly-written platform will act as my voice.
i do not grammar check these, so if that bothers you, i apologize. i like to think that i'm not terrible at english, but i'm not too blind of my faults to think that these will be without fault too. as for capitalization, i see no point in it. not in this context, anyways.
all of that said, should you read any of my letters, please keep in mind that some topics may be triggering to some people. that's okay. but, should you feel uncomfortable or upset by anything i write here, don't read. making people upset is not by any means my goal.
