Trying my best

Good Day Everyone,

I know that life is hard for a majority of people today. I am no exception to that category. And by no means am I slamming anyone else's hardship or unfortunate circumstances. For we all are hurting and I truly wish I could alleviate other peoples worries and fears about making ends meet. Because I know how that feeling sits in the pit of your stomach making life unbearable at times.

My letter is just to bring attention to all the companies out there that have no heart, or soul for that matter, that push their customers to the breaking point. Yes there is a choice to procure service with you Verizon, AT&T, and local utility companies, but when changes in income happen they could care less. In addition to income changes, meaning the reduction or loss of one, my family is dealing with a family member having multiple illnesses. My husband is physically unable to work, and while this is documented by his doctor, these companies want to hear nothing of it because there is no formal form of proof; i.e. Social Security Disability Award Letter. Yes we have applied and yes he was denied. Yes again to appealing. We are now awaiting a date to go before the court to plead our case. The case is currently in adjudication. So we wait. And while we wait we face termination of services, shut off of our utilities, and the ever present worry of one late payment from foreclosure proceedings on the small home we proudly bought 13 years ago when our family was growing.

Lets not forget to mention the student loans that are looming over my head and will enter repayment status soon, because I am educated and work hard only to fall short of the money needed to keep us afloat. This is especially evident at this time of year when back to school supplies and clothing are needed.
So I just want to say thank you to the companies mentioned above for giving me anxiety and lack of sleep in worrying if I will be able to make a payment, albeit a partial one, to maintain services. For this I work six days a week and spend little time with my family. Where will this money come from? I guess I'll need to get a 3rd job.
