To all Americans,
I am a small business owner who knows very well how complex our tax code is. I pay a CPA to handle my taxes as most business owners do. In fact, most working Americans either hire a CPA, use a “brick & mortar” like H&R Block, purchase software or use online services to prepare their taxes. The amount of Americans who sit down with an IRS instruction booklet and tackle the feat themselves is less than 10%. This is common knowledge and something most all Americans know and understand. My question is; how ignorant are people and the media who comment on the statements made between Trump and Clinton in the first debate on Trump’s taxes? Who in their right mind really believes a billionaire actually prepares his or her own taxes? Secondly, where is an American who wants to pay all the taxes they can pay and not take deductions, use shelters or seek loop holes in the tax code? Trump does not prepare his own taxes. I am positive he has a staff of CPAs and tax lawyers who handle this. Let me define his comment on being smart. Trump is only smart because he does not fire those CPAs and lawyers. These are people who seek and utilize the tax deductions, tax shelters and tax loop holes put in place by our own government to the fullest! Last, why the hell is Clinton tooting her horn? She has spent many years in government and I am sure she uses all the deductions, shelters and loop holes her people can find . She has been part of the same government which orchestrated those tax deductions, shelters and loop holes in our tax code. She is a multi-millionaire! Has she ever stood up in Washington and refused to take tax breaks for herself or family? Has she ever submitted a tax return free of any and all deductions? Does she strive to pay the maximum amount of tax she can contribute? Give me a break!
We are so far away from reality. People are so uninformed and easily mislead. I just want to understand how such comments in a presidential debate can actually create any reaction. It is like our candidates are “DUMB” and the voters are “DUMBER”!
The fact is that Donald Trump’s tax people prepare his taxes and Hillary Clinton has responsibility in making it possible for Trump to pay little or no tax! Where does the argument make common sense? How do the media outlets make news with this ignorance?

This whole tax fiasco from the debate can be looked at in five ways:
1. If you are in poverty, you may want to blame Clinton for making it harder for you to receive the help you desperately need because the government is spending it faster than it comes in. That is why we are 20 trillion in debt and you don’t have a decent pair of shoes.
2. If you are in the lower to mid class bracket, you may want to blame Clinton for making you pay the portion the other classes dodge and the lower classes portion which they don’t have. Remember, you are closest to the bottom so it’s more convenient for you to take care of the lowest class. The Clinton’s make millions from giving “nonpublic” speeches to the 1% income earners on Wall Street. They are near the top so for convenience they will handle taking care of them.
3. If you are in the middle upper class bracket you may want to thank Clinton for allowing Mr. Trump to dump his money back into the economy creating cash flow in our markets instead of handing it over to the government. You may be one of the tens of thousands who have a job because of Trump’s contribution to the markets.
4. If you are realistic at any financial level, you should know that the top 20% income earners pay 84% of the total tax revenue and the top 1% earners pay nearly 46% of the total tax revenue. Are you one of the 1%? Who wants that burden? Attention all successful people, you will be punished for achieving your goals! If you are a 1% class individual, being someone who simply depends on a Trump for 40 hours a week and that modest paycheck on Friday may seem like a dream.
5. If you are like me, you may just want to know how to contact Trump’s CPAs and see if they are taking any new clients!
