An Open Letter To Zimbabwean Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa

Straight to the point, you are a dead-man-walking, Mr. Vice President! The current ZANU-PF shenanigans that involve the deadly purges, witch hunting and name-calling are obvious pointers.

Never think that because Robert Mugabe gave you the Vice Presidency post he likes you, he is actually afraid of you! "To kill them, tame them," goes the saying.

Much said, it is my belief that you should not be intimidated into extinction without challenging the evil dictator and his wife.

Right now many Zimbabweans are shocked with the way the adulterous Grace Mugabe carries herself, as well as being used as a tool by the nonagenarian to silence those that are perceived as threats to his dictatorship and misrule.

Now let's go personal: Dambudzo, please tell me you are happy being in the government for the past 35 years, and having contributed to the downfall of the economy!

Please tell me you are happy that white Zimbabweans were illegally deported to a strange country, i.e. Britain, even though they have a right to citizenship and ownership of land and other properties in Zimbabwe!

Please tell me you are happy seeing the ruling party infiltrating and eventually crushing all serious opposition for the past three decades and a half!

Please tell me you are happy that the '80s Gukurahundi killings should be swept under the carpet without forgiveness by the perpetrator-cum president Mugabe!

The man that is planning to kill you, Robert Mugabe, recently shocked the whole world when he defied the odds by handing over the SADC chairmanship reins to Botswana' s President Ian Khama, but failed to hand back Zimbabwe's missing activist Itai Dzamara that he abducted in March this year.

Zimbabwean vendors are not allowed to trade freely in their own country, as Mugabe labels them "goats", but is happy to accommodate the Chinese to establish their businesses.

Your colleague Mugabe also said lots of obscenities against the Kalanga indigenous people, including labelling them as "uneducated".

Very recently, the justice system, which is directly under your watch and guidance, seemingly endorsed a Supreme Court ruling that empowers employers to fire workers at will without compensation.

I can mention a whole lot concerns, but the purpose of my letter is to ask you to be brave, courageous and "grab the bull by its horns."

The time has come for you to show your true "crocodile" prowess, as your nickname Ngwena declares, not the crocodile tears that you seem to be shedding with your cowardice.

After the sudden killing of Solomon "Rex Nhongo" Mujuru by Mugabe' s state agents, you should be alert by now, strong and vigilant, because you are the only one so far that the dictator fears the most.

However, I'm beginning to doubt your liberation war credentials, in that you have allowed the husband-snatcher and self-proclaimed First Lady Grace Mugabe to push and shove the elderly like yourself and others as if you are orphans or widows and the widowed.

I doubt that considering your actions and silence you participated in the bitter war against the Ian Smith regime. I also doubt very much that Ngwena is a fitting moniker.

The bottom line is now you have to prove yourself!

As William Makepeace Thackeray says, "Bravery never goes out of fashion."

Maybe deep down you are hurting and "cooking something," therefore I apologise if I prematurely misjudged you, but its because you are taking too long to act.

Maybe you are doubtful that you may lack the necessary support if you were to overthrow Robert Mugabe. Can I tell you something, there are many of us out here salivating at every opportunity to see Zimbabweans finally attaining freedom and democracy.

If you plan accordingly, I verily know that even Mugabe' s securocrats will stand by your side.

If you think you are now set, please rise up from the ashes and pounce on these evildoers like a real ngwena.

As is, you will be lucky to make it till 2018 since the old man and his concubine will surely eliminate you.

"Pośpiesz się!" - command the Polish. It means "Hurry up!"
