A Letter to My Little Sister

To my little sister:
Through out our childhood our parents always said you looked up to me they said I was your role model. They said you wanted to be just like me.
They never thought I would end up wanting to be like you.
Dearest little sister I want you to know that when I was asked who I admire I said you. Even when everyone said their parents I said you.
I admired you when we were younger and you were in Ace programs in elementary school.
I admired you when you made the gymnastics team, when I couldn’t even get past tumbling.
I admire how you made it to globals in DI, how you went to Tennessee and plan to go back just cause.
I admire how you wanted to play rugby and continued to play even when it scared you, even when it was hard.
I admire how you look your best everyday.
I admire your ability to put on mascara and not look goth.
I admire your ability to match clothes and do hair.
I admire how involved you were in middle school with sports, speech and debate and everything else on top.
I admire how you ask for help when you need it.
I admire how you can talk to strangers.
I admire how you dream of a perfect pretty wedding and life with kids.
I admire how you can see yourself having a wonderful future.
I admire your intelligence.
I admire your confidence.
I admire your compassion.
I admire your dedication.
I admire your reliability.
I admire your work ethic.
I admire your determination.
I admire your bravery.
I admire your kindness.
I admire your optimism.
Dear little sister I just want you to know I admire you.
