Hi Ravish,

I am writing this open letter to you in context of your reporting done on 6th October 2015 before Bihar elections. (http://goo.gl/fF7VJg)

You had described beautifully when light came for the first time in Vaishali, Bihar and its impact on people. They previously used battery charged lights and fans for their home, now they are using new electrical instruments.

In the video you mention that it would have been great if the reporters could have captured the moments when the electricity came for the first time and my concern as a citizen is related to that.

As I can see Government of India has put details of status of electrification in India by state in its website http://garv.gov.in/dashboard , now my concern is WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU ALL NOW(all reporters)? , there is beautiful phenomenon, electricity is coming for the first time in various parts of India and yet there is no reporter to capture that joy and excitement, because they are busy in concentrating on frivolous issues, capturing bollywood news.

I know that long letters don't make impact so I would end by requesting you and other reporters to do a reporting on this, so that people of India could know how much India lack basic infrastructure and what is being done to improve that.

Thanks
