I still hold on to my hope

As the Philippine national election is past approaching, I feel very hopeful for the great change that will surely happen in the Philippines. But as I have read comments and black propagandas online against my fist pick, Mayor Duterte, it seems I will be losing that hope.

Most of us Filipinos are self-serving. Let's look this aspect in a very simple perspective. Commonly we pick our soon to be leaders based on our current situation. Let's relate this matter in the simple traffic problem.

Pinoy no. 1 - may sariling sasakyan, natrapik man, at least malamig sa loob ng car nya.

Pinoy no. 2 - Wala mang sariling sasakyan, pero nakakaafford magFX, at least di masyadong maiinitan. Malate man sa traffic, ok lng, government employee naman, walang memo, walang deduction at walang magtatanong. Private employee man, ok lng ag late, boss naman, may priviledge.

All of us Filipinos can relate on the situation, but the question is who we are, Pinoy 1, Pinoy 2 or Pinoy 3? Pinoy 1 & 2, yet they sympathized with Pinoy 3, they still keep it on their mind alone, and at the end of the day they do nothing, but pray and hope that situation will improved not mainly for the benefits of Pinoy 3 or for benefits of all, but for their own benefits.

This is one of the main problems of most Filipinos today. They tend to focus on their house alone without looking onto their neighbor. Choosing leaders that will give them more comfort, but not for the comfort of all. The main reason maybe, is because they are not Pinoy no. 3 who experiencing the least benefit from the government.

This is why I choose Mayor Duterte. I want Pinoy 1, 2 and 3 to experience equally the comfort that the government can provide, a true progress that can be felt by all Filipinos.

I still hold on to my hope that Filipinos will look the current situation thru the eyes of their fellowmen and choose the leader that will uphold the good for the benefits of all.

I still hold on to my hope, that why my vote is for Mayor Duterte.
