Dear David Cameron & Jeremy Corbin

The referendum was a serious issue not taken seriously because it was used as a protest vote against parliament, by those disafected with the system.

The reason why with the parliamentary system we have their votes do not feel as if they count equally and indeed they do not.

David your party got 24% of the populations vote and 34,243 votes per seat.

Labour got 20% of the populations vote and 40,290 votes per seat. In an election where 38% of the population did not vote.

Under our electoral system people know their votes are not equal
so it has isolated its' self from many, and never really bothered to reengage.

This failure has lead us to a disastrous decision, based on lies and hysteria being made, one which will effect the children of this country for many years to come.

In short we are now in a mess. David you foolishly set about this referendum as a tool to unite your own party. Jeremy your party has left a void in the northern towns.

The forward thinking cities, with high levels of education and integration are constantly dragged backwards by the rural areas and have been for decades. Jeremy your call for national unity on this issue is in vain the system has created a divide for too many decades.

Of the entire electorate 37% voted leave (or against the establishment) in the referendum.

This is no mandate to rip the UK apart & destroy both our economy and international relations.

The margin was 1.26 million votes to date nearly 2 million have signed a petition for a second referendum.

We require a second referendum where the people given the options by experts, facts and not the politicians they no longer trust.

A second referendum where the issues are given the serious consideration they deserve, not handed to an ever more ridiculous self serving political and media circus act.
